Jamie Barrett: Back in Jamuary of #1984, my guitar friends and I and the guitar community of the world were shocked by the keyboard heavy singie #Jump, released in December of #1983 by guitar pioneer and reinventor #eddievanhalen and his band #vanhalen …but we were soon comforted by those who first heard the rest of the album that what followed truly rocked.
