edh: John Lennon would be 81 years old today. He was born on 9 October 1940 at Oxford Street Maternity Hospital in Liverpool, where I was also born a few years later. This is another song from the 1971 ‘Imagine’ album. He wrote the melody in 1968 in India with the title ‘Child Of Nature’ but later rewrote the words to become ‘Jealous Guy’. Many thanks to the amazing @smileypete for his wonderful piano on this, and to @bbenkao and @marknicko68 for their usual great work. Happy birthday John! #jealousguy
