cmeyer: 🇺🇸 “Sabiá” is a common bird here in Brazil and inspired Jobim to compose this song. The lyrics are about having hope to return home and be able to listen to a sabiá sings again. I wrote this for three flutes when I was in Rome, having the same feelings of Jobim.
