jlamp: Gerry Goffin and Carole King’s ode to 1960’s suburbia, a Top 10 hit for The Monkees in 1967. Always thought the title referred to the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. I have since learned it was a reference to Pleasant Valley Way, a street in West Orange, NJ, where Goffin and King lived at the time. This is a collab from last winter with @bbenkao and @TaterTot .
