: Swimming has given me many opportunities from seeing different places of the country, meeting amazing people, helped me get my dream job working at the beach and it most importantly taught me discipline and how to give it your all. My final weekend was a blast. Never in a million years did I think I would do this well after taking off 2.5 years. On my last day I made finals in 3 events. Hard work, patience, faith and determination all pay off. I am still in shock to say the least. And has much as I hate swimming sometimes, I really truly love it. Competing since I was five, finished when I was 21.
