aworld4change: Most of you know I set out on a bicycle trek across the country to California yesterday. Well, today I was heading down along hill on a state road and the trailer got away from me. It was fishtailing back-and-forth, my front tire skipping around, and eventually I totally lost it. When I came to, there was a guy that had watched it happen who said I was out for about 10 minutes. The ambulance took me into Sylacauga hospital, they checked me over, head and neck CT scans, and am now headed back home to recover. I'm scraped up pretty bad, and through most of the tissue in several parts of my body, especially the right side. I wish I could just jump back on the bike, and ride but need to heal as my knees don't look so good either. I will be staying at home until Tuesday which will give me time to recover, and install some better and proper equipment to distribute the weight more appropriately on the front and rear of the bicycle. I think the reason why this happened is because of a faulty trailer axel and improper weight distribution. Thank you all so much for the love, support, and prayers you've been sending my way! It means so much to me, and I don't have words to express how grateful I am for all of you who are in my life!!!! I shot some video while in the hospital, and will be uploading it probably tomorrow to my YouTube channel. http://www.youtube.com/user/aworld4change Follow the Trek Here: http://www.aworld4change.com/atrek4change #ATrek4Change #BikeTrek #Bicycling
