druskfit: #mobilitymonday is here again and today's focus is the GLUTES and HAMSTRINGS. You probably know by now I'm a huge fan of using bands to warm up and work on mobility, so seen here is a great way to get a deep stretch in the glute/ham tie in. On the left, this is more of an assisted stretch targeting the hamstrings. Be sure to keep a slight bend in the knee and hinge at the hips first. Also be sure you're using a strong enough band to support your bodyweight. On the right is something I've more recently started implementing PRIOR to any lower body session. Using the hip thrust against the resistance will really get your glutes firing and get the correct muscles ready to do the work.
