...as we know it? Probably. There's that great article on Forbes.com that everybody - who's interested in all the mechanics inside the business with music - should read. It's called "Apple Music Is More Than Just A Spotify Killer, It Could End Music Labels Too".
I was really amazed how well it summarizes all the thoughts about the record industry I've been having in the last 15 years, that leaded to my Status Quo. After it became increasingly clear that record companies had not much to offer for a margin up to 90% they're taking. The overall focus will as usual not be the artist, but Apple's %30 - in addition to what they effectively bring to the table - is maybe the lesser evil.
