jimromig: Exploring (tracing) your front foot print while in the half kneeling position is a great way to- -Warm up ankles and lower limbs -Prep for most anything involving hip flexion -Open the hip flexor -Bathe the joints and connective tissues of the lower half of the body with synovial fluid -Develop unilateral stability and explore the correlation between which parts of your foot print you press down into and which parts of your legs and hips fire off. -Feel the difference between recruiting your feet instead of toes -There's a lot more shit... Anyways, while here, keep the entire body still and ONLY MOVE YOUR FRONT LEG while keeping your tailbone tucked. Squeeze floor with rear knee and foot to help keep body stationary, also pressing down on whichever part of the front foot is being traced. Spread the toes on both feet, being sure to stay off toes on front foot. Keep that foot pressing. Spine stays long and hugged by the belly button, ribs, and shoulder blades. Keep heart and head lifted toward ceiling with chin pulled back. Feel free to exhale during any pop, crunch, or tension you may feel... or hear. Never force anything, just allow the pops happen and the tension to slowly shave away. #MBAC #MedBallAthletic #WolfFitnessSystems #WolfPack #UnconventionalFitness #ThinkFromTheFloorUp #MindfulFoundation #MindfulFootprint #Prehab #BeSomebody #BeTheBestYou #HipsDontLie #BlackSwanYoga #OnnitAcademy #OnnitCertifiedTrainers #TotalHumanOptimization #MoveWellBeHappy #OnBendedKnee #StabilityThroughInstability
