bekah_joy: Cranberry Sauce time!!! Homemade is the way to go! Ditch the canned crap and make your own in less than an hour! Hint: make this a day or two before Thanksgiving and that's one less thing you have to cook on the big day! 12 oz Fresh Cranberries 1/2 cup Local Honey Zest of one Orange Juice of that orange (1/2 cup) 1/2 H2O Cinnamon Stick Throw it all in a pot and heat on the stove! You'll hear the cranberries start popping and then let it simmer for a good 45 minutes, remember to stir so it doesn't burn. Add more water if the liquid burns off. The longer you let it simmer, the thicker it will get! And....that's it!!! I store mine in a jar in the fridge and break it out before turkey dinner is served! Easy peasy!! And so much healthier then that canned stuff!! And tastes 100% better too!! #thanksgivingprep #lovetocook
