: This past year I was able to witness greatness not once but twice! The GOAT was able to celebrate gold at the World Cup and then I saw her once again celebrating that victory in Miami. I am truly blessed to have been able to see her play and even more to have been around for the inspiration she has brought on to many. Thank you for everything you have done for team USA, for soccer, and for changing the lives of so many around the world. I am saddened that I will never again see you on that field wearing the USA crest on your chest, but truly happy for all you have done.
