Today, I have a lot of things to be thankful for:
One of which is that today is my first day returning back to work after the whole surgery recovery thing! So that's exciting! πͺ
Another would be that I guess the way I talk sounds less nasally because my old boss complimented me today saying that he thought I sounded better and less congested :) Yay! Breathing! And oxygen! And stuff... Lol π
Oh! I also got a text from my mommy, that always brightens my day! π±
And then the usual happened, like girls complimenting me on Facebook and whatnot, you know, the norm ;) π
And last but so far from least, it's actually "most" important, today is my little sister's 16th birthday! πππππβ€οΈππππ
She is literally the reason for my existence. I could go on and on about how if you look in the dictionary for the word "perfection" her life and face would be there, but I don't want to go overboard. Madison, I love you more than life itself. Do the world a favor and NEVER cease to be the amazing person that you are. The world needs more of you. I hope the rest of your life continues to get better day by day from here on out. There will be days that suck, when the world feels like it's on your shoulders and you aren't strong enough to hold it up by yourself, but on those days, if I can, I'll hold it up for you. I'll always have you back like jansport! Here's to the greatest echelon sister an echelon brother could possibly dream of having!
True story: the best day of my life was when I was called onstage and was front and center at the Gibson amphitheater with Jared Leto and Thirty Seconds To Mars. (Video available upon request lol) and I thought to myself "there's no way I'm ever going to be able to top this experience". Fast forward 5 years, seeing them with my dad and sister at the Hollywood bowl during the carnivores tour, and my sister and I get on stage, and it wasn't being on stage that beat the first experience, it was turning and seeing how happy my sister was that beat the first experience! Where do I sign to accept my award for brother of the year? ;) π
