: Here are some alternatives for the front squat other than using an olympic bar with a hand over hand grip. I almost didn't show the right option because with the de quervain's tenosynovitis in my wrist it was difficult to get my elbows up where they need to be and hurt like a mug! For that option you really want to focus on leading with your elbows.
