This hidden gem that is tear jerking, heart warming,feels journey anime revolves around arima kousei, a brilliant pianist who stopped playing the piano after a mental breakdown during a live performance and as a result he is no longer able to hear the sound of his piano. Two years later he met a beautiful talented violinist whos playstyle reflects her personality and catches kousei's heart. This girl, kaori miyazono eventually convinced kousei to play the piano again by being her accompanist. The problem is that the girl is interested in kousei's best friend Watari.
