: Many times I find myself not having time for a regular workout. So what I end up feeling is stiff. For me it's usually in the neck, upper shoulders and back area. I'm sure many of you who sit behind a desk all day significantly feel it in the same areas. We tend not to move daily or as often daily which can lead those muscles to weaken. Stretching increases blood flow to our muscles as well as makes us feel more alert during the day. It can also help with interrupted sleep patterns. I decided since I'm about to start my new program Monday, that today was a stretch day for me. Luckily I have this stability ball which lets me rest all of my body weight on it and stretch slowly.
