We live steeped in an "insta-everything" culture. We go into debt over it. We pursue a million different ventures (never seeing one through) because of it. We abandon healthy lifestyle habits because the inches and pounds aren't just popping off our bodies fast enough. My point is we need to run this race with endurance so we persevere.
