: Get comfortable with the uncomfortable. HIIT today brought to you by incline treadmill sprints for 30 seconds. Incline 10, speed 7.5, run 30 seconds and rest until heart rate drops to 65% of your max. For me it was about 90 seconds. I didn't count how many intervals I did. I probably should have, but for me this is about getting my heart rate back down as quickly as possible. My half marathon is about 6 weeks away racing downhill, but I am trying to break 2 hours so I am training uphill to get my lungs and heart conditioned for an all out sprint when I'm exhausted if I'm cutting it close at the finish.
